Donations needed for new Currahee KIA Memorial: over 1,400 Currahees have made the supreme sacrifice for our country. You may have known some of them. But what you may not know is that there is no single memorial to all the soldiers of our Regiment who have been killed in action. This situation is about to change. Work has already started on a memorial, but your help is needed. At present, there is a need to raise $38,000. This is the unfunded dollar amount required to complete this memorial. This tribute to our fallen is being paid for by people like you. The Army has provided the land; however, soldiers, and veterans, along with Currahee friends and family, will have to come together if we are to complete this project.
